A brand-new Sandals location, Sandals St. Vincent is a luxurious all-inclusive resort surrounded by lush landscapes and pristine beaches. The resort offers elegantly designed accommodations with stunning ocean views, complemented by gourmet dining options and premium amenities. I had the privilege of representing Shoreline Destinations at the Sandals Star Awards, which represents our sales numbers with Sandals and Beaches Resorts. My stay was for five nights at this gorgeous 5-star luxury property so I was able to experience the entire resort.

OVERVIEW

Sandals St. Vincent is a great sized resort and is wonderfully laid out. There are pockets of places where you can sit and relax with a bar close by throughout the resort so you don't feel like you are stuck in one spot! They have cabanas all around the pool that are free to use so it is first come, first served. The resort is lively, especially with the pool that has a swim-up bar with a DJ playing in the afternoons. There is also a quiet pool if you want to get away. With everything included, this resort really stands out for being in a unique location with fantastic amenities!

SUITES

There are 301 rooms and suites tucked away on its own private cover bordered by lush forest and a gently flowing river. Sandals St. Vincent has the first suites featuring separate media rooms and fitness rooms with equipment. It also has its first one-of-a-kind Two Story Overwater Villa and Two Bedroom Beachfront Butler Villas. These extraordinary villas blend natural beauty with luxurious comforts—offering a spacious bedroom with see-through glass floors, a Tranquility Soaking Tub, and a hanging daybed. For even more breathtaking ocean views, head up to the second-floor deck, designed exclusively for soaking in the stunning vistas. Each room is thoughtfully designed with comfort and luxury in mind!

DINING & DRINKS

There are all kinds of cuisine at Sandals St. Vincent from elegant dining to casual bites to satisfy any craving you have! There are 11 restaurants however my two most favorites were Butch's Island Chophouse for steak and seafood (I'm not gonna lie, the desserts were to die for!) and Gatsu Gatsu for sushi and ramen. A close third was the gluten-free pizza at Isola and I'm not a gluten-free eater! Only Butch's and Buccan require reservations however it was easy to get those scheduled in.

There are 9 bars/cocktail lounges scattered throughout the resort so one place never feels too crowded. After dinner, the Three Jewels Rum Bar was a great place to hang out and connect with other guests. The swim-up pool bar was quite a lively place to listen to great music!

ACTIVITIES

PADI Certified Scuba Diving - Some of the world’s most renowned reefs, walls, and wrecks are found in Saint Vincent. Sandals offers one of the most comprehensive scuba diving programs anywhere (and it’s included!).
Water Sports - Glass Bottom Boats, Hobie Cats, Kayaks, Kneeboarding, Snorkeling, Wakeboarding, Paddle Boarding, Waterskiing, Sailing, and Snuba (extra fee).

Land Activities - Beach Volleyball, Bocce Ball, Cricket, Board Games, Pool, Table Tennis, Shuffleboard, Chess, Pool, Complimentary Bicycles, and Croquet.

Excursions - Sandals offers excursions off the resort which is a great way to explore this rural, untouched destination. I went to see Dark View Falls and toured the historical West Coast. The famous movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" at Wallilabou Bay, where Port Royal's harbor was brought to life. The Dark View waterfall offered a chance to cool off!

ANJLI’s Takeaways

Layout - I love the layout of this resort! It is very walkable and they also provide bikes to ride around on! There’s also a plaza area where some of the restaurants are, so it creates a wonderful atmosphere to hang out.
Outlets - By law, there are no outlets in the bathroom, so if you need to style your hair you’ll have to bring an extension cord! There's a US outlet located on each side of the bed.
Gluten-free Paradise - Buccan is a family style restaurant serving local cuisine and the whole menu is gluten-free! It was AMAZING so try it out even if you’re not a gluten-free eater.
Scuba Diving - If you are a scuba diver and are certified, you can get two free dives per day. Want to learn? They have beginner lessons for a fee.
Complimentary Bicycles - My favorite thing to do was to ride a bicycle around the resort! They have non-motorized bicycles littered throughout the resort so you can just get one and take off!
