After visiting Moon Palace Jamaica Grande for the second time since it’s opening, it remains our favorite family friendly all-inclusive property in Ocho Rios. There are so many reasons why this resort is one that we talk about often with families… there is something for everyone here!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
The Moon Palace Jamaica Grande is located in the heart of Ocho Rios and you can easily walk right into town to shop for souvenirs or grab a bite to eat.
With its central location, you’re also a quick ten-minute drive from Dunn’s River Falls and other popular land excursions. You can also easily book a snorkeling excursion, dolphin swim, or a sunset cruise! The best part is that the catamaran comes right up to the property’s dock! No need for a transfer to catch the cruise. The cruise comes to you!
THE FOOD
This all-inclusive resort has 5 on-site restaurants, which are AMAZING. You’ll be pleasantly surprised with all of the options available and the quality of food. Enjoy meals that include fresh, organic, and “farm to table” ingredients prepared by world-class chefs. Their restaurants offer American, Jamaican, Italian, Pan-Asian, and more.
Room service is also included in your stay so feel free to order your breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks to your room any hour of the day or enjoy their 24-hour coffee and gelato shop (the Nutella crepes are a favorite of mine)!
KIDS ACTIVITIES
Your kids will love the Moon Palace Jamaica Grande. They have a FREE kids center for kids ages 2-12 called the Playroom. Kids can play for hours in their state-of-the-art activity rooms, which include arcade games, an indoor ball pit, and more. Their teen center offers arcade games and plenty of entertainment to keep them occupied too. There’s plenty of outdoor activities as well! From paddle boarding to a surf simulator, kids of all ages will be entertained!
BEACH
