ESPERANZA OVERVIEW

Upon arrival, a vast entryway will welcome you with spectacular ocean views and a fire pit that lights up the space in the evening. The entire resort is generally peaceful and quiet, ideal for those looking for a relaxing beachside oasis.

Between the five swimming pools, two tennis courts, the nine-room spa, and the private beach, you will never run out of things to do at Esperanza Resort. Two air-conditioned gyms, fitness classes, and a yoga studio will keep you active even on vacation.

ESPERANZA DINING

Located in the tourist corridor, Esperanza is nestled closer to Cabo San Lucas than San Jose del Cabo. You can take a shuttle to the neighboring resort, Chileno Bay, for dinner or drinks at one of their esteemed eateries. However, dining experiences abound at Esperanza. Chef Alexis Palacios strives to use local and organic ingredients from area farmers and fishermen to make their restaurants sustainable and as fresh as possible.

Cocina del Mar, one of the best restaurants in Cabo, and the main dining area at Esperanza, serves fresh seafood and Mexican recipes with a Baja flair. Enjoy a casual poolside dinner at La Palapa, a family-friendly dinner in a garden environment at Las Estrellas, or a laidback lunch at La Terraza Americana.

ESPERANZA ROOMS

At Esperanza, you can choose from casitas and suites, villas, oceanfront villas, and haciendas. Starting at 950 square feet, suites feature Mexican furnishings, massive bathrooms, and plenty of space. You will have access to fantastic amenities like in-room Nespresso machines, WiFi, fresh fruit, a fully-stocked mini-bar, and sunrise yoga. With Nikon binoculars in every room, you can watch whales and sea turtles in the ocean below after ordering room service on a personalized in-room iPad.

Villas are ideal for larger groups or families, ranging in size from 2,400 to 4,000 square feet. Oceanfront villas turn it up a notch with access to a butler, a personal chef, and dazzling views of the water. A fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, and massive outdoor space make these villas particularly appealing for extended stays.

Esperanza is one of my favorites for those looking for a quiet getaways. Here are just a few reasons why I love Esperanza!

The Rooms!!! - All rooms have either a terrace hammock or jacuzzi, creating the perfect oasis after a day of enjoying the beach or exploring Cabo and every Casita has Ocean Views (and the view is amazing!). I think my heart skipped a beat when I walked into my room to find guacamole and ingredients to make my own margaritas waiting for me upon arrival. I'm also obsessed with the nightly turndown service, which includes lit candles in the bathroom and outdoors for a truly romantic and serene atmosphere.
The Decor - It has a Bohemian Beach Chic feel.. loved the decor throughout the resort. Stunning!!
The Pools - The adult pool is literally on the sand right by the ocean. So while you can't swim in the ocean here, when you are in the pool, you feel like you are!
The Drinks - Floating Rose' Happy Hour... hello!! Plus - get your own Yeti cooler when you grab your pool chair. Fill it as you wish throughout the day. :)
Instagram-worthy Beach Swings - Two open-air cabanas next to the beach have swings that overlook the water. Whether you want to snap some incredible photos, or just want a tranquil place to enjoy the beach, play on the swings and embrace your inner child.
The Spa - Likely one of the top features of the Esperanza Resort, the nine-room spa is next-level. With a cold-water and hot-water plunge pool, a waterfall, and steam caves, this is an experience like no other.
Private Beach - Because a rocky cove surrounds the resort, the only way to get to the beach is through the resort grounds, making this beach a quiet place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Cabo.
Activities - Super cool activities on property like sea foraging for your own ingredients for ceviche. Talk about fresh catch of the day!
Sister Resort - A shuttle runs between this resort and Chileno Bay (sister property) between 5-10pm. So go grab dinner over at Chileno!
