DINING & Drinks
At Eden Rocks in St. Barths, there are gourmet restaurants and cocktails to appeal to your senses. The Sand Bar is the heart and soul of the hotel serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu varies per meal, but dinner options include fish, meat, and pizza, among other gastronomic options.
Remy Bar & Salon is known for its bold cocktail creations by Eden Rocks' own mixologists. There are also small plates if you’re in need of a snack or two. Lastly, Beach Bar, hence the name, is located directly on the beach. With comfortable lounge chairs, amazing views, creative cocktails, and small gastronomic snacks, it cannot be beaten.
ACTIVITIES
Above all else, relaxing is the activity guests should prioritize during their vacation. Eden Spa is the ultimate place of relaxation. Using only natural ingredients, guests are transported into a healthier, more rejuvenated state of mind, body, and soul.
The hotel also has a program known as Eden Kids, where children ages five and older can enjoy daily activities, including art and pottery lessons, Eden Spa treatments, meditation, yoga, swimming lessons, and water sports, among other fun activities.
Adults are welcome to use the fitness center and partake in water sports and boat rides, among other activities available. In addition, there is live music throughout the week, shopping opportunities, and of course, relaxation is the top activity for all guests.
Eden Rock has even created an app called InsidER so guests can find restaurant recommendations and local activities, read the news, find weather forecasts and ultimately receive all the necessary and relevant information needed for a stay in St. Barths.
ANDREA’S TAKEAWAYS
Here are a few takeaways from my time at Eden Rock St. Barths.
The unique villas… each one is designed differently; both in the exterior & interior elements. There is nothing cookie cutter about these villas, or frankly the resort in general. It’s something you have to experience. I didn’t want to leave my villa, it was gorgeous but not pretentious. Ps.. it didn’t hurt that I had a birds eye view of Nikki Beach. The villa is literally steps from it. If only I had been there on a Sunday….I would’ve laid out and people watched all day long.
The RED!! The red detailing and branding is everywhere and it works; It’s actually stunning. I feel like I’ll associate red with Eden Rock forever. And don’t get me started on the amenities every guest receives… O.M.G. Red slippers, red nail polish, beach tote, toiletry bag filled with goodies, wet swimsuit bag & tanning products… All with the iconic red touches.
The service. I’m not sure if it was because the island is French, but the service was like nothing I’ve experienced before. I’m convinced they have a debrief each evening on what the guests like, what they need, what they have planned for the next day, etc. I am sure people come back year after year and it feels like home. I would love to do this… it’s one place I’d return annually. That’s rare for me to say. It’s that good.
